I first met Audrey at Benedictine Hospital 1979 . I just moved to Kingston from Albany . We both worked on a mixed medical/surgical floor . She was going off shift and I was coming on . I will never forget her smile , soft voice and how she made me feel welcomed . I was so happy to follow her knowing her level of care was the best and I felt comfortable knowing patients benefited because of her . She left the hospital to open up her patient care business , Home Health Care and Companion Agency . I saw an ad in the paper for an RN and responded . Although I had not seen her for years , it was like turning the clock back .Audrey had not changed . She was still that loving , kind nurse who now owned an operated a very successful Home Health Care Agency . She hired me . It is with tears that I write this but I know she is happy to be reunited with her beloved husband , Reverend Waters .
Go with peace and Love Audrey ,
Leslie Nadan , RN

I had the privilege of caring for Rev. Waters and was honored to get to know Audrey, a loving, kind and wonderful woman . I am saddened to know she is gone, though grateful to know she is reunited with her husband, the late Rev. Waters. Rest in Peace and Love Audrey.

Audrey was a gentle, yet incredibly powerful woman. It was not easy for any woman to start her own business 40 years ago and was especially impressive as a woman of color. Her success was rooted in genuine care and compassion for both her clients and her staff. She touched so many lives, many are not even aware as she quietly gave to others. She was truly a servant of and for her Lord and her legacy will not fade.

I worked for Audrey in the office at HHCC in the early 90's. The best employer I have ever had. She was compassionate, kind, and caring to everyone. I've thought of her often over the years and saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family. May she rest in peace with the Lord. Brenda (Winchell) Wilson

Audrey was my friend for 27 years, I was so blessed to have her in my life. Audrey was a kind, thoughtful, dignified presence in any room she graced with her presence. Working with her was my favorite work. She always did what was right, what was good and what helped others most. The Lord called his Angel home. Now she is with James.

The memories I have of my first cousin Audrey are priceless. From our 4th of July celebrations in the park, to my wedding on Post St, she was always there. I loved babysitting for Audrey and enjoyed our dinners at Eng’s on Wall St.
I have a distinct memory of her on a pony with two flowing braids and a smile that could melt a glacier. May you Rest In Peace and Power. There’s a reservation for you in Heaven.
Love to all,
Judy, Zahrah, Kingston and Zen
