Rayna Bowens-Barnes

Rayna Bowens-Barnes, 44, of Connelly, NY, Gained her wings on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at home. She was born December 26, 1976 in Kingston.

She worked for Unlimited Home Care in Kingston. Rayna dedicated her time to her family and caring for others. Rayna enjoyed playing pool, darts, cooking, camping, swimming, and completing puzzles. She also enjoyed playing softball, "Chief " was one hell of a 3rd baseman. She had a laugh that could melt your heart in seconds. Rayna aka "Gert" was smart, strong, loving and the neighborhood mama and an all-around amazing woman. Rayna fought the hardest battle but did it with grace.

She is survived by her husband, Antonio Barnes, her children, Ricardo, Antonya, Raynaija, her mother, Cyd North, her in-laws, Sylvia and Mark, her grandchildren, Harmonii and Nalani, her brothers, Anthony Bowens and Joshua Thomason, her aunt, Sue Medley, as well as several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. She is predeceased by her father, John Bowens and her grandmother, Mary North.
