Your mom always brought a smile to my face. She was not ashamed to give and show her love to us and to our Lord. Always truthful and honest. Sharing her thoughts and testimonies. My thoughts (our thoughts ) are with you. Will always have fond memories when I think of her. Kathryn Prindle...
Your mom sat in front of me at church an I just loved to watch her praise our Lord. She was like David in the bible, she was after Gods heart for sure, she was so in love with Him that joy just came bubbling out of her in praise, even on sundays that she wasnt feeling well. She was not one bit ashamed to let people know how much she love Him or even cared. She was just so humble and free in praising our Lord. I will for sure miss her . Iam pretty sure she touched everyone's heart at church in one way or another. She is with the One that made her so free in spirit while on earth.
Helen embodied many scriptures: 1Thessalonians5:16-18 “ Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.” And Philippians 4:4-5 “ Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.” You did not have to be around Helen very long to know that she had a deep relationship with “my Lord”, as she was fond of calling Jesus. She shined like the sun because she knew the Son. And now, she is seeing “my Lord” face to face.
Carole & I love Helen for her stand in the Lord our Christ. We will miss her. She is with our Lord now. Carole & Bruce Holmes
Sometimes someone comes in your life to wake you to what it means to know Jesus. She Loved talking to Jesus. She spoke with her joy of the King of Kings and with delight even though her body was failing, she always wanted you to know that Jesus never fails. Now she is with Him and watch out heaven! Jesus has brought home His beloved and ohhh how she must be soo excited. Some gifts and talents seem better than others, but in the end what will Jesus say of what we did with what we had? I can easily hear Jesus saying to Helen, " Well done good and faithful servant..." Beautiful lady❣
Helen was my big sister, always inspiring me to love my LORD ( she always called Him, "My LORD") and to be a light in the world, completely unashamed of the Gospel. She had an indomitable spirit. And she also liked Charlie Brown and Snoopy and friends - that was another way I knew she was my big sister. She gave me a giant Charlie Brown cup! I'm going to miss you, Helen.
It was a joy to get to know Helen at church. Enthusiasm and faith poured out of her. She often expressed her love for Jesus and others, as well as her love for her daughter Christin...she loved to share how proud she was of her! She is free indeed! Jeanne Fisher
We met Helen in 2017 and she has been such a joy to know. Even in her last few years she was usually so happy and not bashful to talk about her love for Jesus and her brothers and sisters in the Lord. We are so glad she came into our lives. She will be very missed her on earth, but looking forward to seeing her with our Lord in eternity!
