Dear George,
Going back to when Mary was a Mansfield in our high school days, we classmates have known you both for nearly seventy years. People at our time in life know what it takes to keep a marriage together and growing through all its phases. You two are examples to your family, friends and all of us.
A strong faith allows us to know with certainty that Mary is finding her reward now. God grant you the strength to find joy in each memory of Mary.

CandleDear George and Family,
I often sat behind you by a few rows in church. When you both came in one day in matching leather jackets, I presumed you were part of a motorcycle club and was duly impressed by that! Mary had a good chuckle about this when I told her my wrong idea on both of you. Her lovely smile will be well remembered and I already miss her.
Each and all of you are in our church family's hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Laurie, Michael, Steven and George -
It was with great sadness that i learned through my parents of Mary's recent passing. Every building and family has a pillar, and it always seemed like she was the pillar in your family as well as at St. John's. Since the 1970's & Father Shellenberger , through all the changes in Kingston, the changes at IBM, the changes at St. John's, adulthood for the 3 Mine children, you could count on seeing Mary (and George) at St. John's. I will always appreciate the good words of encouragement and travel that my parents exchanged with Mary and George during many a coffee hour following Sunday services. May your memories be as strong and lasting as her love for her family. My condolences, Kenneth (Lee) Gellhaus

Mary was an inspiration to all of us, a woman of faith, a sweet and kind personality, and a joy to have known. Joe and I send our deepest sympathies. We will miss her dearly. We pray that your pain will be diminished by knowing that the joy her life gave to all of us will always be remembered and celebrated.

When I started attending St. John's church in 1991, George and Mary were core members, having started attending St. John's in the 1950's themselves, and they have continued as core members. Losing Mary from our St. John's community is like losing a member of the family. Mary was a kind, considerate, and fun person. She will be missed by many. Our love to George and family as they work their way through this difficult journey of life without Mary here with them. Hopefully memories of the great times with her will be a comfort.

CandleGeorge and family- I am deeply sorry for your loss. Mary's smile was always a comfort to me. I first met you both at st John's when I was 20. But really got to know her at Dr. Abe's later that same year. Her smile gave me courage, her manner made me feel comfortable, I couldn't shock her, and I admired her from the get go. Prayers and love to you all. Bob and I will have you in our thoughts.

Dear Mine Family,
We are sorry to read of Mary’s passing. We can remember many fine events at St. John’s where Mary was laughing, smiling or sharing the escapades of her children or grand children, or George! It was easy to see the effortless love that she and George shared throughout the years. 64 years is a lot of love. We can only be as lucky to have that love in our lives. She was a knowledgeable and caring nurse as well. May you all remember the memories she so easily made with each of you. All our hugs and love during this difficult time.
