Victoria D. Villajuan, 98, of Kingston, NY, passed on peacefully at home on Saturday, May 17, 2025. She was born on June 8, 1926, daughter of the late Emiliano and Epifania (Gonzales) Dacanay. Victoria was married to her husband of 60 years, the late Mario Villajuan. Mario passed away on February 29, 2024.
She was a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. She owned and operated Farmacia Dacanay in Pantabangan, Philippines, for many years. She was the President of the Catholic Women's League in the Pantabangan, Philippines during the 1970’s. Victoria was loved by everyone in her hometown for her generosity and kind heart. Later in 1981 she moved from the Philippines to join her husband and son who made the trip two years earlier.
Victoria is survived by five children, Marivie, Arnold, Joana, Ruby and Glenda, six grandchildren, Marion, Kristina Marie, Kevin, Arnel John, Victoria, and Emilio, one great grandchild, River James, and a brother, Epifanio Dacanay. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her grandson, Ryan James A. Villajuan.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at St. Joseph's RC Church, 242 Wall Street, Kingston, NY 12401 from 1pm to 2pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2pm with entombment following at Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
