Terry Alexander

Terry J. Alexander, 78, of Hurley, NY, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was born on May 25, 1947 in Glenford, NY, son of the late Lester and Mary Helen (Jones) Alexander. Terry served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his companion of 46 years, Fran Ellsworth of Hurley, two sons, Zach Ellsworth of Kingston and Jay Ellsworth of Kingston, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Also surviving are Donna VanKleeck and her husband Ralph, Josie Churchwell and her husband Frank, and Cindy Guenther.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Billy, Tommy, and Jimmy, and his sisters, Kay and Evelyn. Several hours after Terry passed away, unfortunately his brother, Paul Alexander, also passed away. They will have their visitation and funeral services together, as they would have wanted it.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm with military honors taking place at 6pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 11am.
