Stephanie Czarski

Stephanie Czarski, 89, of Rhinebeck, formerly of Lake Katrine, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at Northern Dutchess Hospital. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Thomas & Natalie Kulakowski Kalitowski. She was a retired manager from Sears Department Store and was co-owner of the Green Shutter Motel in Lake Katrine. She was also a volunteer at the Roundout Visitors Center and loved to spend time with her family. Stephanie was a parishioner at St. Catherine Laboure Church, where she was a member of the rosary society. Stephanie is survived by two children, Richard D. Czarski and his wife Rosemary of Oklahoma City, OK and Patricia Aykroyd and her husband Russell of La Grange, NY, a brother, Thomas Kalitowski and his wife Janet of Lake Katrine, three grandchildren, Deborah, Jennifer and Christine, three great grandchildren, Caleb, Shae and Isadora. One niece and one nephew also survive. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave, on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 2-6 PM. The funeral procession will form on Tuesday at the funeral home at 8:45 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine Laboure Church. Interment will follow in MT Calvary Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Catherine Laboure Church, 200 Tuyten Bridge Rd Lake Katrine, NY 12449.
