Sid Bolin of Clearwater, FL, passed away October 26, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife Dody of 62 years in 2006 and by his 2nd wife of 10 years Mary Schwartz-Bolin in 2017. Sid is survived by daughter, Karol Pick (Pablo); son, Howie Bolin (Donna); daughter Steffi Rosenbaum (Ron). Grandchildren; Ted Pick, Marisa Giesler, Michael Bolin, Erica Schachter, Matthew Bolin, & Alex Sandler, 10 great grandchildren, and Sister-in-law Sally Siegel, Largo. He will also be remembered always by the family of Mary Schwartz-Bolin: children Melanie Hill and David Schwartz (Alison), grandchildren Kae Besterman (Matt), Nikki Rosola, Evan Hill (Jordan), Michael Schwartz (Pam), Brian Schwartz (Kristin), 12 great-grandchildren, and many friends from Temple Emanuel and Ahavath Israel of Kingston.
Sid was born in the Bronx, then lived in Queens & Merrick, NY before moving to Clearwater in 1972 to open Dinette World Furniture store. He was a longtime member of Temple B'nai Israel. He was a decorated member of the Air Force, flying B29s in the Pacific Basin, and was privileged to have had the opportunity to participate in the West Central Honor Flight as well as being recognized as a veteran at Yankee Stadium.
The funeral was held on Friday Oct 29, 2021, at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens.
