Sabine Banks, 48, of Kingston, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Thompson House, Rhinebeck, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born June 6, 1963 in Port du Prince, Haiti, the daughter of Ernest KeBreau and the late Adeline M. KeBreau.

She attended Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn, she trained to be a home health aid, working for Sebnc Nursing Home, for 13 years, then for Best Care Home Health Services in Brooklyn for 6 years.
During this time she met her mate Douglas "Pops" Braelfort, they moved upstate in 2004, he died May 7, 2011.
She was a member of New Central Baptist Church. She loved to cook and take care of people, always helping those in need. She loved to go out to dinner, party and have fun.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved family, her brothers and sisters Harold, Carline, Judy KeBreau, Gina Reid, Ernest and Phillip KeBreau, Dantes KeBreau , a nephew that she raised as a son, Richard KeBreau, Jr., her best friends Kisha Williams and Inez Van Dyke, her godson Keshon Williams and goddaughter Ayana Regis, a host of nieces nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. She was predeceased by a brother Richard KeBreau.
The Homegoing Service will be at the New Central Baptist Church on Wednesday at 11 am. Pastor A. L. Coston, presiding. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 - 11 am.
