Ruth M. Senecal Cornacchia

Ruth Mirabile Senecal Cornacchia, 88, formerly of Shokan, NY, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine, NY. She was born on October 24, 1934 in Albany, NY and was the daughter the late Charles and Margaret (Lee) Mirabile.

Ruth worked for NYS Thruway Authority as a toll collector for 20 years. After retiring, she loved spending her winters in Florida. She enjoyed gardening and going to casinos. During the summer, she would spend many hours at her camp on Lake Sacandaga. Ruth was a loving wife, mother sister, aunt and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Karen Senecal, Norman Senecal, James Senecal, Kathy (James) Langan and Kim Senecal. Grandchildren Olivia, Audrey and Andre and a great grandson, Anaize. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Peggy, and her husbands, Norman Senecal and Leonard Cornacchia.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 10am to 12pm. There will be a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY at 2pm.
