Ruth Boodman of Bevier Road, Gardiner, died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Mountain View Nursing Home. She was 87.
She was born in New York City on January 9, 1920, a daughter of the late Edward and Sarah Wald Jelin.
Her husband Murray Boodman died July 2, 1997. One brother Sylvan Jelin died previously.
Surviving are two daughters Pepper Valentino of Gardiner and Carol Freidman of Israel.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday at 11:30 AM at Beth David Cemetery, Elmont.
