Rosalie Fagerstrom

Rosalie Fagerstrom, 92, of Olivebridge, NY, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus in Kingston. She was born October 6, 1929 in The Bronx, daughter of the late Paolo and Emanuela DeLuca. She was married to the late John W. Fagerstrom, II; John passed away in 1983.

Rosalie loved life and loved her family.  She was hospitable, warm and welcoming, making others feel comfortable and cared for.  She always provided a place called home. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones playing games, laughing and dancing.  She was a ball room dancer and in her younger years had an opportunity to dance professionally.  While always a lady, she was brave, strong and feisty.  She often made others laugh without even trying.   

Rosalie is survived by her children, Donna Garraffa of Kingston, John W. Fagerstrom, III and his partner Melinda Robinson of Glenford, and Carl Fagerstrom of Kingston, three generations of grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family members. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her son, Paul Fagerstrom, her daughter, Elena Hillmann, and ten siblings.

The family would like to thank her many loving caregivers in her community, and while residing at Ten Broeck in Lake Katrine. 

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Monday September 12, 2022 from 10am to 12pm. At 12pm the funeral service will be held, with burial following in Krumville Cemetery.
