Robert Keith Ratner died peacefully on October 25th in hospice care in Kingston, New York. Born on March 28, 1953 in Manhattan he was the son of Seymour and Sylvia Ratner. He graduated from Teaneck High School in 1972 and served in the Navy. He was faced by many challenges both physically and mentally but throughout his life he was still able to enjoy many pursuits. He loved music, guitar and the particularly liked The Beatles. He enjoyed the visual arts, his favorite artist was Van Gogh and favorite picture Starry Night. He read widely on religion and was accepting of all faiths. His most fervent wish was for world peace.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ratner was predeceased by his brother Dr. Paul Howard Ratner. He is survived by his stepmother, Judith Ratner, step sister Gwendolyn Jurney, sister in law Tamra Ratner; nephews Marc Benjamin, Ethan Samuel, and Brandon Brooks; nieces Sybil Kate and Rela Brynne.
