Robert G. Brodhead

Robert ''Poppy'' G. Brodhead, 68, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was born October 23, 1946 in Kingston, to the late Walter and Lillian (Childs) Brodhead.


Robert worked at Phillips Components in Saugerties for over 20 years. He served as deacon at The Master's Touch Church and Pointe of Praise FLC. He loved cooking and helping people. He was married to his wife of 38 years, Patricia A. (Kennedy) Brodhead.


He is also survived by his children, Robert Jr., Tara, Tyrone, Kiana, and Darion Brodhead, Yolanda, Dana, and William Knox, Jr., 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, his siblings, Barbara Faulcon, Michele, Michael, and Gene Brodhead, and Richard Glass, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his daughter Cheryl Walker, and siblings, Lois and Bruce Brodhead.


Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston. Friends and family may visit on Saturday July 18th from 10am to 12noon at The Pointe Church, 243 Hurley Ave., Kingston, NY. The Home Going Service will start at 12noon. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
