Robert A. Copeland

Robert A. Copeland of Franklin St., Poughkeepsie died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at his home. He was 38. He was born in Grand Forks, ND a son of Robert C. Copeland and Doraline Ennist Dixon. A Rondout Valley High School graduate, class of '92, Rob later attended Dutchess Community College and was admitted into the honor society. Rob worked as an assistant manager at Lowes, Kingston and later at Home Depot, Poughkeepsie. Loving son of Robert C. Copeland of Kerhonkon and Doraline Ennist Dixon of New Paltz, step son of Priscilla Copeland of Kerhonkson, brother of Monique Wallace of Cincinnati, OH, Tonyia Copeland of Poughkeepsie, Connie Dixon of New Paltz and Alexander James of New Paltz; grandson of George Ennist of Poughkeepsie. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends also survive. Reposing at the Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. Kingston on Friday from 11:00 1:00 PM. A funeral service will then be conducted by Rev. Shirley Whitlock at 1:00 PM at Simpson Gaus.
