It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Pearson. Pearson Jack Reynolds passed away on February 7, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer, in the arms of his loving parents who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Pearson was born on July 25, 2010 to parents Blair and Colby Reynolds in Rhinebeck, NY. He was the youngest of three children, joining big sisters Rylan and Reisa, and completing their family. To know Pearson was to love him. He was the sweetest boy - kind, thoughtful and full of adventure. Despite obstacles that came his way, Pearson always had a smile on his face and always tried to put a smile on those around him. Because of this great attribute, Pearson had a beloved circle of friends and community in his hometown of Bearsville, NY. A sixth-grade student of Bennett Elementary School, Pearson was active in soccer and student government. He was a talented piano player and loved dirt biking with his sisters, camping with his dad and snuggling with his mom and dog Rocky. Like his parents, he was a lover of the outdoors and an avid snowboarder, ranking nationally at the age of seven with the United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association at Cooper Mountain, CO. Snowboarding was his greatest passion and he aspired to be a professional snowboarder, practicing year-round, whether at his home mountain of Belleayre in the winter, or on his wakeboard at Raquette Lake in the summers. He was loved by the Woodstock/Bearsville community, his snowboarding family and Onteora Central School District and made a difference in so many lives in his short time earthside.
Pearson is survived by his parents, Blair and Colby Reynolds, sisters Rylan and Reisa, maternal grandparents Patty and Bob Kozak, paternal grandparents Dianna and Bruce Reynolds, paternal great grandmother Louise Clark, aunts and uncles Tara and Andy Lindsay and Marissa and Alex Cormier, and cousins Dylan and Charlotte Lindsay and Remy Cormier. His family loves him more than life itself and will miss and remember him forever.
