Pamela J. Christiana

Pamela Christiana, 63, of Mount Marion, NY, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at home in Mount Marion, NY. She was born on December 29, 1962, in Kingston, NY and was the daughter of the late William and Janet Christiana.

Pamela worked for the Saugerties Central School District for over 30 years as an IT Coordinator.

She was an avid traveler who found joy in exploring new places. Pamela visited all 50 states and 49 countries around the world.

Pamela was a lifelong member of the Girl Scouts of America and member of the Saugerties Community Band.

She is survived by her brothers James (Leslie) Christiana, Joseph (Valerie) Christiana, Paul (Debbie) Christiana. Her stepson Charles Timothy (Desiree) Mitzel, grandchildren Reese and Nathaniel Mitzel, stepson Matthew Mahlon Mitzel and life partner Stephanie Pollendar and grandson Mahlon Mitzel. Pamela is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to thank two of Pamela's caregivers Stephanie McElrath and Lisa Shader Harp for the care and love they gave her.

In addition to her parents, Pamela is preceded in death by her brothers Thomas Christiana, John Christiana, sister-in-law Valerie Christiana, and her life partner Charles "Tony" Mitzel.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 11am to 2pm.
