Norma Vennie VanDemark

Norma VanDemark, 68, of Bronx, NY, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026. She was born and raised in Kingston, NY, and then made her home in the Bronx, NY for over 30 years. She was a Graduate of Kingston High School and attended SUNY Buffalo.

Norma held various jobs in sales throughout major department stores in New York City. She loved attending church, reading the Bible, traveling (especially cruises), reading Afro-Centric love stories and crime novels, spending time with her friends & family, organizing party events, as well as passing time in various casinos.

Norma is survived by her mother Mrs. Rosetta VanDemark and her two brothers Curtis VanDemark II and Maurice VanDemark as well as an Uncle Artellius Jackson and Aunt Eva, 2 nephews (Curtis VanDemark III & Maurice VanDemark II), 2 great nieces (Chloe VanDemark & Raegan VanDemark) and 1 great nephew (Carter VanDemark). Norma’s family was quite large and therefore, she is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law (Desiree VanDemark & Justine VanDemark) and numerous generations of cousins.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday May, 7, 2026 from 11am to 12pm at New Central Baptist Church, 229 E. Strand, Kingston, NY 12401, with the funeral service taking place at 12pm.
