Mildred M. Locke

Mildred M. Locke, age 96, of Downs Street, Kingston, NY died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Shady Knolls Health Center of Seymour, CT. Mrs. Locke was born August 11, 1911 in Kingston, NY. She was the daughter of the late Archie W. and Susie Morris Elmendorf. She was predeceased by her husband, Miller F. Locke who died on November 14, 1987.

A life long resident of Kingston, she had for many years worked at the Rowe's Shoe store in uptown Kingston and the Kingston Plaza. She was a member of the Clinton Avenue United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her dear friends and caregivers Donna and Steven Hannay of Shelton, CT; and their children Kassandra and Jason Hannay; dear friends Albert Hanley, Helen Burton Vincent and Brenda DeCicco all of Kingston.


The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY
