Michael Altomari

Michael Altomari, 89, of Tavares, Florida, formerly of Kingston, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026. He was born on September 18, 1936, in Kingston, son of the late Angelo and Louise (Naccarato) Altomari.

He was a Kingston High School Graduate, Class of 1955 and later served in the US Army. He was the owner of Altomari Sewing Center and the Viking Sewing Machine Dealership in Kingston, NY. He was an avid bowler and golfer and was a member of Twaalfskill Golf Club in Kingston for many years.

Michael is survived by his children, Michael Altomari of Saugerties, Tammy Patterson of Kingston, and Kimberly Gentile of Kingston, his companion, Nancy Quarantino of Florida, his sister, Carol Van Kleeck of Saugerties, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear family members.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings, Dolores Cafaldo, Louise Clark, Theresa Dachenhausen, Angelo Altomari, Bernice Jurkowski, and Barbara Bruno.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Thursday September 24th, 2026, from 4pm to 7pm. A private inurnment service will take place at St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Saugerties, NY.
