Melvina A. Jones

Melvina A. Jones, 103, of Kingston, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2013 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on September 30, 1910 in Bainbridge, GA to the late Archie and Manasser King Armstrong. She has lived in Ulster County for over 50 years. She worked for Ulster County Social Services retiring in 1979. She was married to Humphrey B. Jones for 48 years before his passing in 1998. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by many friends. Friends will be received at St. James United Methodist Church on Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:00 AM at which time funeral services will be conducted by Pastor David Jolly. Interment will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
