Mary R. Shearer

Mary R. Shearer formerly of Rondout Drive died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at The Thompson House in Rhinebeck. She was 86. She was born September 21, 1922 in Glasgow, Scotland a daughter of the late David and Alice Ronegan Shearer. She immigrated to Kingston in 1956 and worked for many years as a seamstress in the local garment industry. Surviving are her daughter, Michelle Lind and three granddaughters, Alexandra and Whitney Jones and Dominique Dinkins, all of Kingston. Cremation, at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, was private.
