Mary Alice Rockwell, of Jarrold Street, Kingston died Friday, July 4, 2008 at her home. She was 63. She was born in Kingston on July 1, 1945, a daughter of the late Richard and Helen Ennist Cantwell.She married Douglas Rockwell on January 1, 1975. Mary was a Soldier and a former Sunday School Teacher at the Salvation Army in Kingston as well as a member of the Women's Ministries. She is survived by her husband of thirty-three years, Douglas Rockwell; three children Maria Milan and her husband Ramiro of Kingston, Princess Weinberger and her husband Kevin of Kingston and John Cruz and his wife Corissa of Port Ewen; two sisters Betty Jean Cantwell of Malden and Margaret Ann Major of Kingston; one brother, Richard T. Cantwell of Saugerties; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Thomas, Joe'l Cruz, Thomas Keane, Joshua Milan, Kayla Cruz and Magdalena Cruz; many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her brother Joseph H. Cantwell. Reposing at the Salvation Army, 35 Cedar St., Kingston on Tuesday from 2 4 and 7 9 PM. The funeral service will be officiated by Captain James C. Kisser, Jr. on Wednesday at the Salvation Army at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in the North Marbletown Cemetery. Memorial contribution may be made to the Salvation Army Kingston Citadel, 35 Cedar Street, Kingston, NY 12401.
