Marguerite Yeaple

Marguerite L. Yeaple, 86, of Highland, NY, formerly of Kingston, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Hudson Valley Rehabilitation & Extended Care Center. She was born on March 14, 1939 in New Paltz, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Terwilliger) Yeaple. She is survived by her husband, Elton F. Ellsworth also a Kingston native whom she met while living at Valley Vista Assisted Living in Highland and married on April 1, 2016.

Marguerite worked for many years at Kingston Hospital. She worked for the housekeeping department for over 30 years and was proud to be part of the hospital community. She enjoyed church services, music, and shopping.

A special thanks to all her caregivers and staff at Hudson Valley Rehabilitation Center where she resided since September 2024 and the staff and residents of Valley Vista Assisted Living where she lived for many years prior finding new friends and companionship.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Thursday July 3, 2025 from 10am to 11am. The funeral service will take place at 11am with burial following in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.
