Marc A. Goldleaf, 49, passed away unexpectedly on April 19 due to natural causes. Born in Kingston, NY, on January 20th, 1974, he was the beloved son of Danica and Ronald Goldleaf. Marc attended Kingston schools and was a member of the Kingston High School class of 1992. He was a gifted athlete participating in competitive swimming for most of his youth, and very involved with the Boy Scouts, earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. He went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Saint Bonaventure University.
Marc was extremely dedicated to his work and had an impressive 25+ year career as a marketing agency leader. He was well-liked and respected by colleagues and clients who admired his incredible talent, nimble mind, creativity, and drive to deliver impeccable work.
On February 27th, 2001, Marc married Heidi Rogers. They welcomed a son, Fin, in 2001 and a daughter Peyton in 2003. They shared many happy years together as a family before separating in 2017. He loved his children with his whole heart, and he worked so hard to provide a beautiful life for them. They will miss him terribly.
Marc was passionate about cars and motorsport his whole life. He was particularly fond of obscure British sports cars. He shared this love with his father and his children. He spent long hours working in the garage with his dear friend, Peter Bayer, who stood by him through all things and meant a great deal to him.
He is survived by his children, Fin and Peyton; their mother, Heidi; sisters, Roni Daily and her husband Matt, and Gabrielle Goldleaf; step-mother, Arlene Neuman; inlaws: Tammy Rogers and Peter Rea, Kathy and Rich Carroll, Rebecca and Kevin Maher, nieces Madison and Andersen; nephews Hunter, Noah, Thatcher, Graham, Hudson, Shane, and Calvin. He also leaves behind his dear Andrea Mustain and many wonderful friends who will mourn his loss. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Danica.
Calling hours will be held at Keyser Funeral Home in Kingston, NY, on Saturday, April 29, from 2-6 PM. A private burial will take place on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
