Lynne (Acker) Wenzel

Lynne Wenzel-Lynne to most, Aunt Lynne to those who mattered most, was born on September 21, 1948, in Kingston, New York and went to be with her lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

The daughter of Edward and Lucille Acker, sister of Jerilynn Cosenza (Jon) and Glenda LaRocca (Emil). Lynne was a graduate of Kingston High School. She spent her working years beginning at Grand Union and ending forty years later when she retired from Hannaford.

Survived by her sister, Glenda LaRocca of Tennessee, her brother-in-law, Jon Cosenza of Connelly, her stepchildren Peter and Brianne Wenzel of Kingston, her step-grandson, Jonathan Wenzel of Florida, nieces, Lisa Fabiano of Saugerties and Michele Page of Connelly, nephews Dean LaRocca (Kimberly) and Jamie LaRocca (Jennifer) of Tennessee. Lynne was especially close to great-nieces, Jordyn Deforest (Andrew) of Saugerties, Adrianna Page (Matt) and Mackenzie Sickler of Connelly, great-nephews Joseph Fabiano III (Ashley) of Athens and Christian Page (Lucy) of Connelly. Blessed with great-great-niece Ophelia James Deforest and great-great-nephew Joseph Robert Fabiano. Lynne also has many other great, as well as great-great-nieces and nephews in Tennessee.

Lynne is predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Robinson, her parents, Edward and Lucille Acker, sister, Jerilynn Cosenza, brother-in-law, Emil LaRocca, and husband, Peter Wenzel.

Per Lynne’s wishes, no calling hours will be held, and burial will be private.
