Lorraine (Ferrari) Berti, 69, of Olive Bridge, NY, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born February 2, 1944 in The Bronx, to the late Alfred and Elvira (Filetti) Ferrari.
She was married to her loving husband of 44 years, Bruno Berti. Lorraine attended Aquinas High School in The Bronx and later worked with her husband at the family business, Magnum Provisions in Lake Katrine, NY. She was a parishioner of St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Woodstock and enjoyed traveling to Florida during the winters. She especially loved spending time with her family and her granddaughter, Caitlin.
In addition to her husband, Bruno, she is survived by her daughter, Ann-Marie Cabic and her husband Edward of Alexandria, VA, her son, Michael Berti of Kingston, her granddaughter, Caitlin Cabic, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8pm. The procession will form on Wednesday at 9:30am at the funeral home and proceed to St. John's RC Church, 12 Holly Hills Dr., Woodstock, NY, where at 11am a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
