Linda Sue Shapiro

Linda Sue Shapiro, 82, of Manhattan, NY, passed away on October 17, 2026. She was born on March 20, 1944, in Brooklyn, NY. She was a New York City school teacher for 40 years.

Linda was the sister of Helen Fliegler of Hurley and the sister-in-law of Dr. Chuck Fliegler. She was a devoted aunt to Brett Fliegler (Allison), Russ Fliegler (Caryn), and Seth Fliegler (Samantha), and to her great nieces and great nephew, Emme, Matthew, Abby, Alix, Maya, and Jordyn. Who ever knew her, knew that she was known as, “Aunt Linda”.

She was a true New York City native and loved attending Broadway shows and museums.

Arrangements are entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where the funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 1pm. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
