Linda C. Moore

Linda C. Moore, 78, of Shokan, NY, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at home. She was born May 23, 1943 in Kingston, NY, daughter of the late Harold Buley, Sr. and Kathleen (Phillips) Buley. She was married to Sherman O. Moore, Sherman passed away on August 5, 2003.

Linda retired in 2014 from Eastern Materials in Kingston. She was a member of the Reservoir United Methodist Church and enjoyed bingo, family gatherings, playing cards, baking, gardening, Lotto scratch off tickets, collecting Beanie Babies. Above all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, more than life itself.

Linda is survived by her children, Kathleen (Timothy) Cusa of Lake Katrine, Carol (Donald, Jr.) Kenly of Kingston, John (Sandy Edwards) Moore of Shokan, her grandchildren, David (Annie) Curci, Daniel (Tiffany) Curci, Donald Kenly, III, Sherman Kenly (Laura), Rose Moore (Eric), Matthew Cusa, Valerie (Michael) Wilder, 11 great grandchildren, her siblings, Arnold Buley, Beverly Roebuck, Irving Buley, Barbara Stewart, Louise Clark, Bruce Buley, Roger Buley, Sr., and Gloria Reed, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her brothers, Harold Buley, Jr. and Barry Buley. The family would like to especially thank Hospice Nurse Kevin for the wonderful care he provided.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY, 12401, where family and friends may visit on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 10am followed by burial in Hurley Cemetery, Hurley, NY.
