Lillian M. Meagher

Lillian Marie (Raffaldi) Meagher, 100, of Bangor, ME, passed away on Thursday January 14, 2021. She was born November 5, 1920 in Kingston, NY to the late Ettore and Anna (Marchio) Raffaldi.

Lillian grew up with her younger brother Frank where they both worked at their parent's restaurant, Torino's Inn, beside the Ashokan Reservoir in West Hurley. Lillian was married to Thomas Kinney who passed away in combat during World War II. She later married, Donald A. Meagher. Donald passed away in 1972. During her life, taught at a one-room school house in West Hurley, she was a social worker, a librarian, and a home maker.

She is survived by her daughter, Katherine McHale of Seattle, WA, her son, Donald A. Meagher, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Bangor, ME, as well as 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Services are entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY, 12401. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John's Church, in Bangor, Maine on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. The Mass will be lived-streamed via the parish website at www.stpaulbangor.me
