Kongsoo K. Kim

Kongsoo Karl Kim, 92, of Woodstock, NY, passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus, in Kingston, NY.

He was born in 1929 in Chun-Nnam, Korea and emigrated to the United States where he studied electrical engineering at the University of Illinois at Champaign and physics at SUNY, Buffalo. Karl married Aeyoung (Lee) Kim on April 16, 1966 in Buffalo, NY.

After relocating to Woodstock, NY, he owned and operated Kimms, a gift shop on Wall Street in Uptown Kingston for more than three decades.

Karl is survived by his wife, sons Raymond and Edmond, his daughter Kiai (Eunice), and one grandchild.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston, NY 12401. A graveside burial will take place at 11am on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Woodstock Cemetery, Rock City Rd, Woodstock, NY.
