Joseph Sloyan

Joseph Matthew Sloyan January 23, 1937 - August 14, 2023. 

Joe was born in Jersey City , NJ. The youngest of three sons born to Jane (Cantain) Sloyan and Francis Sloyan. Both Jane and Francis proceeded him in death, as did both his brothers Francis (Frank) and Thomas (Ben). He is survived by his two daughters, Laurie Sloyan-Croney,  Sandra Sloyan-Toney, grandsons Johnny, Ronnie, Jeffrey, and Nicholas. As well as nieces and nephews. 

Joe was raised on tugboats and spent his life carrying on the family legacy of being a tugboat captain, who loved being on and near the water.

Joseph will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful father and grandfather.
