Joseph G. Boracchia

Joseph G. Boracchia, 86, of Port Ewen, NY, formerly of Queens, NY, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Thompson House in Rhinebeck, NY. He was born October 23, 1931 in New York City to the late Giacomo and Mildred (Petrovich) Boracchia. Joseph was married to Theresa (Casella) Boracchia.

He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He recently worked as a school bus driver for Arlington Central School District of Dutchess County NY

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Boracchia of Port Ewen, his children, Stephen Boracchia and his wife Susan of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, Paul Boracchia of Queens, NY, and Josephine Murphy of Pleasant Valley, NY, and Gina Garcia and her husband Raul of Poughkeepsie NY, 7 grandchildren, as well as his sister, Adele Kerr of Hunter Mountain, NY. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother, Edward Cussack. Joe was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He was a cherished man loved by everyone who knew him. He leaves a small hole in everyone's heart he touched. Joe was a gentleman and a gentle man.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, NY where family and friends may visit on Saturday April 7 from 2pm to 5pm. Military Honors and a Prayer Service will take place at 3pm.
