John Holochuck

July 21, 1926 — August 12, 2012

John "Chuck" Holochuck, 86, of Kingston, died at home on Sunday, August 12, 2012.
He was born on July 21, 1926 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

He was a graduate of Springfield College and of New York University. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. John was the Executive Director of the Kingston Boys Club for over 25 years.
He was a member and past president of the Kingston Lions Club. John was a loving family man dedicated to community service. He will be greatly missed.

John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nordica. He is also survived by his children: Clifford of Richmond, CA; Darlene and her husband Rene of San Juan, Puerto Rico; Jeffrey of Kingston; Mark and his wife Patti of Kingston; Susan and her husband Carlton of Hurley; Nordica and her husband William of Saugerties; Scott and his wife Jill of Ephrata, PA.

In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren: Cassion, Jacqueline and her husband Antonio,
Thamzen, Nicholas, Rachel, Ryan, Isabel, Carly, and his great-grandson Alexander, and his sister, Katherine, and many nieces and nephews.

Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, where a memorial service will be held on Thursday at 4pm.
