Joann Marks

Joann (Cruger) Marks of Hurley, NY was called home to the Lord on Wednesday November 10, 2021 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her 12 year battle, she was a fighter, always positive and strong. Joann was the daughter of the late Edward & Grace Cruger. Born on June 20, 1941 in Poughkeepsie, NY, she moved to Kingston, NY in her senior year of high school. She attended Kingston High School and met her husband, Bill.

Joann is survived by her husband of 58 years, William H. Marks. They were blessed with two children, a son, Jeffrey Marks, of Tampa, FL and daughter, Alissa Henderson, and a son-in-law, Ronald, and grandchildren, Ryan and Kayli, of Bethlehem, CT. She also leaves behind a sister, Joy Bouchard, of Norwalk, CT and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her twin sister, Judith (Cruger) Petruski.
