Joan Viskocil

Our beloved sister, Joan Viskocil, age 68, passed away after a courageous battle with lymphoma. She is predeceased by her father, Joseph Viskocil and her mother, Wanda Viskocil. She is survived by her siblings, Joseph Viskocil, Jr., of Hockessin, Delaware, Mary-Ann Viskocil of Woodstock, NY, Carolyn Licata of Lockport, NY, and Christine Cartusciello of Rockville Centre, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Joan lived a life of service and purpose. She taught as a physical education teacher and coach at the Onteora Central High School and the Phoenicia Elementary School. She was a very active member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation in Shokan, NY. She touched many people's lives as a compassionate caregiver and as a faithful witness of God's love and mercy.

Services will be held privately under the direction of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston.
