Joan Mosher Quick, born June 27, 1930, in Kingston, NY, crossed over the great divide on October 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Daughter of the late Samuel E. Mosher and Jessie M. Mosher and wife of the late Howard R. “Butch” Quick Jr., she was also mother to the late Steven J. Quick and John Quick. Joan was sister to the late Samuel E. Mosher, Helen Harris, George O. Mosher, and Mary DeCicco and aunt to the late John Harris and Edward DeCicco.
Joan was a graduate of Kingston High School and was a talented musician. She enjoyed playing the organ, piano, spoons, and chimes as well as singing. She was an avid Bingo and card player. Her greatest talent of all was being a mother, great grandmother, and caretaker of her family.
Joan is survived by her three children, Carlos Melendez, Howard R. “Butch” Quick, III, and Debra J. Alvarez, her twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 3pm to 6pm.
