Joan B Kohl

Joan B. Kohl, 91, formerly of Hurley, NY, Florida and Georgia, passed away on Monday December 10, 2018 at Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine, NY. She was born September 27, 1927 in Monticello, NY to the late Lester and Ethel (Busch) Bishop.

In 1948, Joan married Gerow Sleight who later passed away in 1984. In 1987 she married William Kohl, William passed away in 2006. Joan worked as the head teller for Kingston Trust Bank in Kingston for many years.

She is survived by her daughters; Nancy Sleight and her husband Robert T. Santiago of Sleightsburg, and Dawn Johnson and her husband Joseph of Washington, GA, her grandchildren, Brett McGuire, Scott McGuire, Keith Kammeraad, and her four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, Michael Vincent Sleight and Scott Edward Sleight.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY. A graveside service will be held at Wiltwyck Cemetery on December 28th, 2018 at 1:00pm.
