Joan A. Cooper-Weeks

Joan A. Cooper-Weeks, 67, of Barkhamsted, CT, formerly of Kingston, died Friday, February 25, 2011 at Wolcott Hall Nursing Facility, Torrington, CT. She was daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Glowinski) Butler. She was the wife of Thomas Weeks.

Joan loved pets and antiques, in addition to her husband she is survived by her siblings James Butler of Kingston, sisters; Rose Cooper of West Park, Patricia Butler and Renie Albright of Kingston, a stepson, Steven Slater of CT, step daughter, Victoria Cooper and former husband, Naylor Cooper of Ulster Park. Several aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by a brother Edward Butler.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Family will receive their friends on Thursday from 12-1:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial willbe clebrated at St. Joseph's RC Church at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
