Jane Ann Rifenbary

Jane Ann Rifenbary, 74, of Kingston, NY, passed away on January 2, 2019. She was born in Kingston on September 13, 1944.

Jane worked for Continental Can Corp in New York City and IBM as a Computer Operator until the birth of her first son. She also worked at Benedictine Hospital as a receptionist and later at Met Life Insurance Company in Kingston. She was a life long member of the Clinton Avenue United Methodist Church and supporter of the Ulster County SPCA.

Jane is survived by her sons, Mark D. Rifenbary and his wife Karen, and Jay P. Rifenbary, all of Kingston. She is also survived by her former husband, Arthur J. Rifenbary of Kingston as well as several cousins.

She is predeceased by her parents Donald R. Hyatt and Helen J. (Evory) Hyatt, her step mother, Marion E. (Schwenk) Hyatt, and her brother, David J. Hyatt.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Northeast Center & Kingston Hospital - 3 West, who provided wonderful care for Jane.
