Jacquelyn E. Glass

Jacquelyn Eileen (Foote) Glass, 85, of Kingston, went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2017, surrounded by her six children and their families. She was the youngest of 11 children, born September 1, 1932 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Leon and Eva (Allen) Foote. She was married for 60 years to Donald H. Glass who predeceased her in 2014.

Jackie was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, where she had taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Grand Rapids, MI, a Den Mother, Girl Scout and 4H Leader. She loved cats, playing bridge, and Broadway Shows. Most of all she lived for and loved her family and friends.

Jackie was a loving; wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her 6 children and their spouses, Mark (Sandra) Glass, Susan (Dave) Hollar, Julieanne (William) Davidson, David (Sue) Glass, Donald (Diane) Glass, and Scott (Heather) Glass, as well as her 16 grandchildren: Justin (Rachelle), Bryan (Samantha), Rebecca, Sarah (Trevor), Alissa, Mark, Kevin, Sharon, Jessica (Seth), Jarrett (Courtney), Deanna, Katherine (John), Kristine, Emily, Taylor, and Meghan. Her great grandson, Henry, was the new love of her life. She is also survived by her dearest neighborhood forever friends Bea and Mike.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Sunday September 17 from 2pm to 5pm. The funeral service will take place at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 104 Wurts St., Kingston, NY 12401 at 11am on Monday September 18. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
