Isabella M Warren

d. November 28, 2021

Isabella “Isa” Warren passed away on Sunday, November 28 at 66 years old.

Born in Italy, Isa had an immense love for her Italian culture and carried it with her throughout her life.
Isa was curious, excelled in science and math, and was unconditionally supportive of her family,
friends, and anyone who needed help. She spent her youth fighting for women's rights and
forming lifelong friendships. Her innate desire to help others grew into her career within the
Onteora School District, where she worked tirelessly to advocate for children with special needs
and provide them with attention and support to flourish. Anyone who knew her was fortunate
enough to experience her sharp wit and silly sense of humor. Her cooking and baking skills
were appreciated greatly by her family. No matter what life threw at Isa, her resiliency shined
through.

Isa’s love for her family, especially her grandchildren, was unparalleled. Being able to
watch them grow and be part of their lives brought her tremendous joy; she looked forward to
every opportunity to spoil them. Isa also loved spoiling her beloved dog, Peanut, by slipping him
some of her meals. He was her protector and brought even more cheer into her daily life.
She was predeceased by her parents, Leonardo, and Tina Marchetta, whom her bond
with only strengthened over time as she cared for them throughout their lives.

Isa is survived by her husband of 42 years, Buzz Warren, whom she first met at a Baskin
& Robbins ice cream shop while still in high school. She’s also survived by her four children and
nine grandchildren. Her oldest son Selleck “Jake” Warren, his wife Ana and their children; Emily,
Isabella “Izzy”, and (predeceased by) Selleck B. Her middle son James Warren, his wife Sarah,
and their three children; James, Isabella, and Sophia. Her youngest son Leo “LJ” Warren, his
wife Denise, and their three children; Isabella, Caleb, and Leo. And lastly, her youngest child
and only daughter, Tina Warren, who was her best friend and third leg.

She will be missed by countless people whose lives she touched. Although there is a
hole in our hearts with her passing, her memory will live on in the lives she forever changed.
Isa is under the care of the Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home. To celebrate her life,
services will be held there on Saturday, December 4th. If you’re looking for another way to
celebrate Isa, donations in her memory can be made to the Migraine Research Foundation.

Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home is honored to assist the family of Isabella with the arrangements.
