Helen M. Mayone

Helen M. (Post) Mayone, 84, of Glasco, NY, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019 at home with her family by her side. She was born December 22, 1934 in Kingston, NY the daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen (Ayers) Post.

After Beautician School in Newburgh she worked at The Artistic of Kingston and later went on to own and operate, "Helen's Beauty Parlor" at her residence, for many years. After retirement she was a vendor at many flea markets, especially Mower's in Woodstock. She enjoyed her garden, painting, and playing the piano.

Helen is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Charles Mayone of Glasco, her children, Amanda "Mandy" Elia and her husband Tony of Saugerties, Raymond Mayone and his wife Carol Ann of Saugerties, and Terry Mayone of Glasco, her grandchildren, Katie Boice and her husband Paul of Glasco, Raymond Mayone, Jr., of Glasco, and Kevin Mayone and his wife Suzanne of Westchester, her great grandson, Luca Mayone, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her sisters, Doris and Florence.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston, NY. As per Helen's wishes, services will be held privately.
