Helen L. Harris

Kingston - Helen L. Harris, formerly of Clinton Ave. died Monday, October 20, 2014 at Health Alliance Hospital, Broadway Campus. She was 87. She was born in Kingston a daughter of the late Samuel and Jessie Mosher. Helen was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had been employed at Helen Hayes Hospital. She enjoyed bingo and was a member of the Ten Broeck Commons Red Hat Society. She was married to the late George W. Harris. Surviving is her daughter, JoAnn Schallenkamp of Kingston; two sisters, Mary DeCicco and Joan Quick, both of Kingston and a brother, George Mosher of Kingston. Seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. Two sons, John and Jeffrey Harris and a brother, Samuel Mosher Jr. died previously. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston where friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 - 8 PM. Cremation and inurnment will be private.
