Harriet Joyce Rugg, 72, of Riverside Dr., Manhattan died September 26, 2013 at NYU Medical Center. A retired 26-year Pre-K and Kindergarten teacher from the NYC Dept. of Education, for the past 5 years Harriet's passion for photography led her to be shown at galleries in East Hampton and Rincon, PR. Beloved wife of Barry Rugg, mother of Ian Rugg of Brooklyn, sister of Richard Comack of Plainview and Roberta Katleman of Fairfax, VA, sister in law of Eileen Pew of Maine and Arnold Rugg of Kingston. Graveside services at 11:30 am on Sunday at Ezrath Israel Cemetery, Wawarsing. Contributions may be offered to NYU Cancer Institute.
