Gustave Walz

Town of Ulster- Gustave Walz of the Palmer Center on Flatbush Road died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 at home. He was 86. He attended the day treatment program at Ulster-Greene ARC's Pecora Center. He enjoyed collecting and woodworking projects. Born Jan. 3, 1918 in Queens, he was a son of the late John and Mary Prinz Walz. Survivors include a brother, John; two sisters, Evelyn and Mary; and friends at Palmer and Pecora. His twin brother, Arthur, and a brother, Herbert died previously. The funeral Mass wil be conducted noon Friday at St. Colman's Church in East Kingston. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
