Gregory DeStasio

Gregory Joel DeStasio (Gramps Greg), 75, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at his home in Kingston, NY surrounded by his family. He was born on December 7, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY and was the son of the late Vincent DeStasio and Marie Karpen.

He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam war and later in the reserves. He was an avid gardener and fisherman. Gregory was always full of kindness and generosity.

He leaves behind his wife, Jill DeStasio, son Matthew, daughter Andrea and her fiancé, James, brother Vincent as well as grandchildren, Juliana and James Heath. One could not ask for a better husband, father, brother, son-in-law and especially grandfather.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401.  A memorial service date for Gregory will be announced soon.
