Gloria DePasquale, 95, of High Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck, NY. She was born January 28, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Fucnelli) Negri. Gloria was married on December 14, 1947 to Nicholas DePasquale.

She was an animal lover and a long-time parishioner of St. Peter’s RC Church in Rosendale.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Marie VanGassbeek and her husband Dr. Dale VanGassbeek, her daughter, Cecelia Mernin, six grandsons: William DeReza and his wife Dr. Sara DeReza, Christopher DeReza and his wife Lynn Fisher; John Mernin; Joseph Mernin and his fiancé Aviva, Jesse Mernin and his wife Rosalie Mernin, and Jeremy Mernin and his wife Ann Mernin as well as four great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Gloria is preceded in death by seven siblings.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10am on Saturday August 20, 2022 St. Peter’s RC Church, 1017 Keator Ave., Rosendale, NY 12472. Burial will follow in Pine Bush Cemetery.
