Frank Krasher, Sr.

Krasher, Frank P. Sr. Age 78, of Saugerties, NY, died peacefully at his home on the morning of Saturday July 8, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Born at home on 55 Schuyler Street in Albany, NY on February 7, 1945.  He served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion, The Disabled American Veterans, the Vietnam Veterans of America. 

He graduated from Ulster County Community College and continued his education at the College of St Rose in Albany, NY with a Bachelor of Science. Frank worked in the field of computer processing. His greatest pastime was vacationing and spending time with his family.

He was the son of the late Peter and Stella Krasher and was also predeceased by his sisters Barbara (Don) Mangine, Stella (Joe) Poutre, and brothers Joseph and William Krasher. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Sharon, of 54 plus years, their three children; Frank Krasher Jr. of Rensselaer, NY, Debra Krasher of Wallkill, NY, and Robert Krasher of Saugerties, NY. 4 grandchildren; Jessica (Bryan) Billings, Jennifer (Jeff) Scott, Gianna Mancuso-Krasher, and Samuel Mancuso-Krasher; four great-grandchildren; Cayden and Sophia Scott, Brady and Blake Billings; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He has three living brothers; Peter Jr. of Selkirk, NY, Edward of Fonda, NY, and Douglas of Delmar, NY; five sisters; Frances (Thomas) McLaughlin of Rensselaer, NY, Helen (James) Hagerty of Rensselaer, NY, Maryann (Bob) Bleichert of Cohoes, NY, Rosemary Bell of Rotterdam, NY and Florence Krasher of Delmar, NY.

Entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401 where family and friends may visit on Thursday July 13, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday July 14, 2023 at 11am, with burial following in Hurley Cemetery, Hurley, NY.
