Evelyne B. Gardner

Evelyne Gardner, 83, of Walkill, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was born October 6, 1930 to the late Richard and Irene (Dimick) Blass.




She was married to Edwin B. Gardner Sr.; they wed on March 21st 1951. Edwin Sr. passed away in 2003. Evelyne worked at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.




She is survived by her son Edwin B. Gardner Jr. (Theresa) of Walkill, her grandchildren, Edwin B. Gardner III, and, Dana, Nicholas, and Travis Williams.




Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston. A private graveside service at Hurley Cemetery will take place at the discretion of the family.
